2025 Refresh

Over the last couple of years, we put a team together to refresh the Sheriff Dan Rhodes series. It took a while, but everyone agreed that the primary objective of the refresh should be to help the readers visualize Sheriff Dan Rhodes. The sheriff will be appearing on every cover. The first book to be refreshed is Too Late To Die, with the new cover illustrated by Hugh Vogt shown here:

We are also creating new audiobooks as another way to bring the sheriff to life. Chris Abell will be narrating every book in the series. There are some other things, like having a numbered badge on every cover so the reader can easily see what book they are reading or listening to in this 25-book series. Also, the refreshed ebooks will have sneak peeks of the next book in the series.

Overall, we wanted to take a "mobile first" approach to make the series easy to read and listen to on mobile devices. Book 1 of 25 Too Late To Die will be refreshed in August. After that, each book will be subsequently refreshed about every 4-6 weeks. You can learn more about all of the changes here in this video:
